From left to right-Sydney Velez (JCCHS), Hayden Salyer (UGA), and Abby Caballero (UGA) ran the race for Tracker Fire. Hayden won the overall race and Men's Overall Award! Sydney and Abby both took 1ST place in their age groups, too! Congratulations to Hayden, Abby, and Sydney!
Tracker Fire is welcoming two new interns! Jason Grooms and Hayden Salyer both hail from the University of Georgia College of Engineering and were seeking internships that would provide them with experience in using AutoCAD! Boy, did they come to the right place for that! Welcome aboard Jason and Hayden!
We have upgraded our drafting software packages from AutoCAD 2012 to AutoCAD 2016. What a HUGE difference this makes! We love the new AutoCAD! We still love our ProgeCAD, too!

Silent Knight Blog has a blog about outsourcing engineering in the fire alarm industry! Traci Imhoff, (formerly known as Traci Velez), Lead Designer for Tracker Fire, wrote this article that was published in the January 2009 issue of FacilitiesNet magazine. Fire Alarm Systems FAQ "If you are a facilities manager, a high-rise building owner, property manager, or other person who is responsible for the installation and maintenance of life safety systems, you probably have some questions about your fire alarm system, especially when something happened that drew your attention to it. When your fire alarm system demands your attention, suddenly questions like “Can it be fixed?”, “How much is this going to cost?”, “Can I reuse what is there already?”, “Does my existing fire alarm system meet current code requirements?” or “Why are these bids to replace the fire alarm system so different in cost?” With so many questions, it’s often difficult to know where to start, so let’s start with the basics."
